We bring entrepreneurs and small businesses to eager shoppers looking to fresh and ingenious products. While other online shopping platforms simply sell products, since Grommet offers entrepreneurs a chance to do more:

For 12 years, we’ve seen first-hand how voting with your dollars to choose small means more. It’s one action that flows through small businesses, builds relationships, and empowers people to enrich their communities. Bringing people closer together.
Many of the products and small businesses we’ve launched have gone on to become household names like Bananagrams, Bondic, Cuppow, FitBit, GoldieBlox, IdeaPaint, Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day, OtterBox, Plumen, PocketMonkey, SodaStream, Sugru, and Yogibo, among others.

Diversity, equity, and inclusion is important at The Grommet overall as it improves our thinking, pushes our point of view in a more broad way and helps to connect more closely with our customer base. We ensure that each person’s point of view is considered when making decisions. All voices and opinions are important. We want everyone on our team to bring their authentic selves to work. They don’t have to mask who they are, and we acknowledge and respect those differences.
We listen to our employees and engage with them regularly around how they’re feeling about organizational decisions. We know that we need to improve our political and social justice check ins, as it’s an opportunity for us to increase those touch points.
HOW WE'RE BUILDING A SAFE & INCLUSIVE ENVIRONMENT👩🏼🏭
Leadership engages with teams on a weekly basis to check in. We have 1:1 meetings and confidential employee surveys. Monthly, we have a team meeting and update employees on goals, finances and provide ‘shoutouts’ to those that have gone above and beyond the previous month.
We are working to set up a Diversity + Inclusion Committee, which will be completely run by team members that will develop the DEI Mission Statement, identify goals and deliverables and will be fully responsible for developing programming and partnerships.
