Diversity is the quality of having a mix of differences present in a given setting. At LIMGC, diversity is about the presence of individuals representing diverse identities, backgrounds and experiences, including race, ethnicity, class, socioeconomic status, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, nationality, ability, education and role within our organization. Our Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Task Force is currently working with Leadership, Advisory 83 (our DEI Consultant), the Doug Wiliams Center (a new corporate partner of ours in the Athletics space) and across the organization to plan our annual DEI training series, standup organization-wide Employee Resource Groups, and audit the way our Corporate Communications group acknowledges, recognizes and determines specific holidays, days of observance, celebration, mourning, etc. that are relevant to our entire employee group.

Inclusion is the state and process of putting diversity into action by creating an environment of involvement, respect, and connection. At LIMGC, we create an environment where the richness of ideas, backgrounds, and perspectives are harnessed to create a unified culture by continuously engaging with our Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Task Force, Leadership team, and Advisory 83 (our DEI Consultant) to regularly update all teams on DEI initiatives, petition employees for participation in special projects, surveys and other DEI work, and to create a continuous feedback loop between employees and corporate decision-makers about LIMGC's ongoing DEI work and initiatives.

Across LIMGC approx 18% of employees identify as an ethnicity other than white, with 6% of all employees identifying as Black/African American, and 32.5% of employees are female. Specific to Mogo, females represent 71% of the leadership team.

LEADERSHIP IS ACTIVE βœ”οΈ

Our Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Task Force meets every week with the head of Human Resources for LIMGC, and monthly with the President of the company, to ensure that all DEI initiatives are vetted, sponsored, and communicated from the top-down. Our DEI consultant, Advisory 83, also coaches Corporate Executives and provides ongoing training for leaders across the company to ensure all employees feel safe, seen and heard.

The MogoSME Team is one of the most diverse employee groups within LIMGC. As owners of all digital strategy and activation for the organization, our team has a unique opportunity to lead the way and be role models for the rest of the organization when it comes to exemplifying the qualities of diversity, equity and inclusion that are an ongoing focus of the organization at-large. Our teams will have regular opportunities to present to the company at-large and doing so will provide opportunities for recognition, input and leadership for people at every level of our company. At the corporate level, LIMGC regularly participates in industry events centered around Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, including the recent Sports Business Journal's recent two-day "All In" summit, which focused specifically on investing in a culture of representation, equity and action within the sports industry. As LIMGC continue to evolve into a Digital Media company, the MogoSME group will be at the center of the company's most important initiatives which will create opportunities for our diverse group of employees to continue to be represented in important ways for the company and the industry-at-large.
