In order to measure progress towards those goals, we report the % increase on a quarterly basis to our leadership, Board, as well as company-wide events and communication. Our goal at Jamf is to be a global leader of diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace. We know we still have areas to improve upon, not only as a company, but the tech industry as a whole, and we are always working hard to foster and support underrepresented groups to encourage those to consider a career in technology.

OUR PATH TO EQUITY🛤

Equity at Jamf ensures every person has access to the same opportunities. As a foundation, we provide all Jamfs with training to raise awareness about inclusivity and unconscious bias during our employee onboarding process, which was developed to help new hires get started, meet fellow Jamfs, learn about our culture, values, core competencies and generally what it is like to be a Jamf.

Our equity lens is asking ourselves “Who is trying to get in the room but cannot? Whose presence in the room is under constant threat and how do we mitigate this?" One way we have answered these questions are by implementing a formalized sponsorship program for our BIPOC Jamfs to help provide access to leaders and open doors to career growth. We plan to extend this program in the near future to additional underrepresented groups.

Jamf has invested in our Employee Resource Groups to provide a safe space for empowerment and cultural education. We also organize regular company-wide DEI events, trainings, speakers, and panel discussions covering meaningful and current topics to educate and empower employees to create change. We encourage employees to use their voice to make real, actionable differences to ensure Jamf is a place where everyone feels comfortable and can be successful both in the office and while working remotely.

In the spirit of selflessness and relentless self-improvement, we constantly strive to progress and continue to evolve our commitment to support equity, diversity, and inclusion. This includes increased funding and support for our Employee Resource Groups, expanded mental health and wellness benefits, and racial justice and anti-racism training for our Jamfs. DIVERSITY MATTERS AT JAMF 📣

Jamf is mindful and purposeful about being leaders of change for women and people of color in the tech industry. We sponsor and attend events around the globe aimed at attracting and retaining underrepresented groups to consider Jamf and promote the tech industry as a whole. But we know having a presence in these spaces is not enough.

Our internship and mentor programs are designed to bring students into the tech field early on as a potential career path. Many of these students come from communities underrepresented in higher education, and families for which economic reality restricts their access to a quality college- and career-preparatory education. Helping them feel welcomed and engaged is an important initiative whether they stay at Jamf or move on to other organizations.

Our Inclusion & Diversity Program includes a multi-year vision where we are focused on data and impact driven DEI efforts. In addition, we are launching mandatory training leading with inclusion, inclusive hiring, understanding and applying racial justice, and understanding and applying gender equity for all our people leaders in 2022. We are also providing all Jamfs with proactive, action-oriented resources to move beyond understanding bias and towards proactive practices in the workplace that mitigate bias.

INTERVIEW PROCESS⏳

Once an application is received and qualified, a recruiter conducts an initial phone screen. From there, candidates will meet with the hiring manager, as well as others from the department team, for onsite or virtual interviews. Upon selection, an offer is made!

As the situation around Coronavirus continues to evolve, we are working diligently to ensure the safety and health of our employees and job candidates. As an employer who puts people first, we have implemented work-from-home guidelines and resources for our entire global workforce to create a safe work environment. Our recruiting and hiring team is fully equipped to continue meeting our hiring needs, including offering candidates virtual interviews as well as remote onboarding.
