Black Experience on Xfinity – Curated by industry leaders, Black Experience – a first-of-its kind destination – features high-quality content from many of Xfinity's existing network partners, while investing millions of dollars in fostering and showcasing emerging Black content creators.
Amplifying Underrepresented Voices & Stories - We are committed to ensuring positive, affirming, and authentic representation and stories in the content we create, produce, and distribute.
Expanding Diverse Content Offerings – We’re continuing to expand the diversity of the content we bring to Xfinity customers. We announced a multi-year carriage agreement and content partnership with REVOLT, the Hip Hop content platform from Sean “Diddy” Combs, and expanded access to AspireTV and the Black News Channel.
DIGITAL EQUITY PRACTICES ⚖️
Comcast has long been committed to advancing digital equity, closing the digital divide, and addressing both digital literacy and the homework gap. Over the last decade, we’ve connected over 8 million low-income Americans to the Internet at home through Internet Essentials - the nation's largest and most comprehensive Internet adoption program for low-income households. We’re also partnering with leading education and equity-focused organizations to help create greater pathways and new opportunities for underrepresented communities to succeed in an increasingly digital economy. Below are just some of the ways:
Lift Zones – We’ve launched a multi-year program to create more than 1,000 WiFi-connected “Lift Zones” in community centers nationwide, serving as safe spaces where students and families can connect to the Internet and access the tools they need to participate in distance learning.
Expanding Internet Essentials – Over the next 10 years, Comcast is committing $1 billion to reach 50 million people from low-income families with the tools and resources they need to succeed in a digital world.
Public-Private Partnerships to Close the Digital Divide – We launched our new Internet Essentials Partnership Program, focused on enabling cities, school districts, and community-based organizations to connect large numbers of students to broadband access at home.
Committed $40 Million to Support Digital Equity Leaders – We’re partnering with national and local organizations that share our commitment to creating a more connected and equitable world.

DE&I Speaker Series - Designed to educate and inspire, this monthly series features scholars, thought leaders, bestselling authors, and expert speakers discussing a variety of topics centered around diversity and inclusion, racism, and allyship.
